Things which may interest the Tru64 user/admin...
- collect, a data collector.
- a Perl module to manipulate
Tru64 UNIX disklabels
- Perl scripts for the automated cloning
of Tru64 UNIX (V5) single-systems and clusters.
See here for more information.
- The ncdu (NCurses Disk Usage) utility, compiled and ready to run,
compiled on Digital UNIX 4.0F, can
be downloaded here. It uses the ncurses-5.7
package and was compiled with gcc-3.4.6. The only dependency is libc. It should work
on Digital UNIX 4 versions prior to 4.0F, and on Tru64 UNIX 5.x, but I haven't tested
these. See https://dev.yorhel.nl/ncdu for
for the source package, which you will need if you wish to have the man page, etc.
I used the C-version of ncdu, which can be found here:
ncdu-1.22.tar.gz.
- Some Digital UNIX "helper" programs, (bash, less, make, perl, screen, top, trace, openssl) compiled on V4.0F.
The description for V40F,
the V40F tar-archive and the
V5.1B tar-archive.
The helpers must be unpacked under /usr/local/. You should look at the tar inventory
before unpacking them, to avoid accidentally overwriting existing files.
BEWARE: these are very old versions, and things like ssh and openssl should be used with care,
as they certainly contain security vulnerabilities.
